Description Listen to the Music!

A getaway to 20 luxurious lodges in America’s wilderness! Home cooks will love these full-flavored recipes created by lodge chefs. The cookbook includes sensational food photos, a description of each lodge, masterpiece paintings, and quotes by Thoreau, John Muir, Teddy Roosevelt, and more.

On the companion music CD, instrumentalists of the Big Sky Ensemble blend bluegrass, country, western swing, slack key, and jazz. Inspired by traditional American songs, their music is a cross-country journey to enjoy while cooking, dining, and relaxing at home.

I purchased the book on great American Lodges for my sister and her husband. Will be giving it to them tonight.
I did unwrap the book and look through it which brought back many memories. I have been to most of the lodges and eaten at some of them. Does hot chocolate at the Awahnee count?  One lodge I saw from a distance is the Lake Placid Lodge.   I thought the book was well done and canÃÆ’ƒÂ¢ÃÆ’¢â€šÂ¬ÃÆ’¢â€žÂ¢t wait to listen to the cd. I am on my way to Lnoxville for a nephews wedding after which we are driving through Great Smokey Mts Natl park. Hope to see the lodge that is featured in the book outside the park.
