More than absurdly cute, Matilda is so soft and squeezable, and she looks equally at home snuggled on a bed or in a kitchen nook. This luxury soft toy will likely become a collector's item.

Nice Jellycat product April 9, 2015

I was a little put off by the "Free Shipping" come-on which only applied if you ordered certain things, but the order was fulfilled quickly and without any problems. My granddaughter will love her birthday chicken.

Matilda the Hen by Jellycat January 21, 2015

This hen was a perfect gift for my granddaughter, because she is having her book published this spring titled"Unususl Chickens for Extraordinary Poultry Farmers."
I have sent Matilda to her in Seattle, but have not heard from her yet. I so hope Matilda got there okay!
Matilda must be a cousin    of the chickens on the farm in this charming, beautifully illustrated  book, although she has a different name(I think). This is a toy that a great many children, and grandmothers, too will love. I may have to order one for myself!

Cute stuffed Chicken! November 27, 2014

This will be a Christmas gift for an animal crazy 24 yr old. However, this animal crazy 51 yr old may just keep the darn thing herself. Looks just like the catalogue picture, is a good size and is very cute. Definitely gift worthy. Ordering online was easy, did take a few days longer for standard delivery than I expected though. Would recommend.
