5 of 5 Dinners for Two - Elegant yet Simple April 21, 2014

There are a lot of recipes in this one. However, Dinners for Two is much more than just a colletion of recipes. Each one, from various inns across the country, contain all courses for a thoughtful meal from main course through dessert. I like that the ingredients are easy to find, opposed to some higher level dining cookbooks that contain ingredients that are so uncommon and expensive that the book becomes unusable unless you are really good at substituting. I mean, where can you locate vintage cognac-braised humming bird tongues? Seriously, these recipies are fairly simple (the temperature of your hands does not matter!) and easy to follow. The music is wonderful from the rain drops of Bach through the heavenly melodies of Mozart right into the lace of Chopin.
Now if I can just find someone to share these with...
